My name is Sophia, and I like getting my hands dirty.
Ever since I can remember, I have loved creating. I knew art was what I wanted to be surrounded by for the rest of my life. I took art classes in school, diving into different mediums and techniques, which helped me refine my skills and fuel my passion even more. Whether it’s metalworking—enameling, casting silver and bronze—or working with ceramics or clay, or dedicating time to illustrations and paintings, I’m always spending my free time bringing my ideas to life. I also have experience sewing, fabric bleaching, and dyeing, and I’m currently diving into tattooing, practicing on myself, friends, and family as I learn about the traditions and tricks of the trade.
Art has always been a way for me to connect with myself and the world around me. Each new project pushes me to discover new techniques and expand my creative boundaries. I find inspiration in everything, and I’m constantly challenging myself to grow as an artist by exploring fresh ideas and experimenting with new mediums.
I’m eager to keep learning and growing and feel extremely grateful to be an artist.
